The Consistencies of the Messages
From Approved Marian Apparitions
On November 29, 1932, the Virgin Mary made her first of thirty-three historic appearances in Beauraing, The Blessed Virgin Mary declared:"I am the Virgin Immaculate" - the Mother of the Heart of Gold also said:
"I shall convert sinners."
(1917) The messages of Fatima are intimately related to the messages given Bethe Petit. The appearance of Our Lady dressed in white with large thorns encircling her heart piercing it deeply was in fact The Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The Christ Child appeared on December 10, 1925 to Sister Lucia in her convent (the eldest seer of the Fatima Apparitions) and said;
pity on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is covered with thorns
which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to
Holding in her hand a heart encircled with sharp thorns, Our Lady then said to Sister Lucia:
" My child, behold my Heart surrounded with the thorns which ungrateful men place therein at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You at least try to console me. Announce in my name that I promise to assist at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary, and keep me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me."
"Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask graces from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her."
In 1858, At Lourdes Our Lady said to St. Bernadette: "I am The Immaculate Conception."
On September 19 1846, At La Salette, Our Lady dressed in beautiful robes and a large splendid crown, was seen by two shepherd children sitting on a rock with her face in her hands weeping - and weeping continuously even as she spoke to them until she departed from them. They were both smitten with her incomparable beauty and gentleness - which quickly overcame their fear. Around her neck she wore a heavy chain which held a large crucifix. The children could see that Jesus was alive and in great agony on his cross. A hammer and pliers could be seen on either side of it. The beautiful Lady addressed them with great tenderness and sorrow and said,
"How long have I suffered for you! If my Son is not to abandon you, I am obliged to entreat Him without ceasing. But you take no heed of that. No matter how well you pray in the future, no matter how well you act, you will never be able to make up to me what I have endured on your behalf."
"I have given you six days to work. The seventh I have reserved for myself, yet no one will give it to me." "This is what causes the weight of my Son's arm to be so crushing."
The Great Importance of Devotion to
The Sorrowful and Immaculate
Heart of Mary
And the Great Mission of Berthe Petit
writings were taken from the books, "The Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart
of Mary, Message of Berthe Petit, Franciscan Tertiary (1870-1943)" Translated
from the French by a nun of Kylemore Abbey. And the book, "The Art of Divine
Love or Berthe Petit." a biography written by Rev. I. Duffner, M.S.C. adapted
from the french by Rev. Louis M. Shouriah in 1955.

The following messages were confided by Our Lord and by The Blessed Virgin Mary to Berthe Petit:
"It is hearts that must be changed. This will be accomplished only by the
Devotion proclaimed, explained, preached and recommended everywhere.
Recourse to My Mother under the title I wish for her universally, is the
last help I shall give before
is as a Son that I have conceived this devotion
"I have called myself the 'Immaculate Conception.'To you I call myself, 'Mother of the Sorrowful Heart' This title willed by my Son, is dear to me above all others. According as it is spread everywhere, there will be granted graces of mercy, spiritual renewal and salvation."
(The Blessed Mother to Berthe Petit, March 25, 1912)
"The safety of your country, internal peace and confidence in My Church will revive through the spread of the Devotion and the Consecration which I wish in order that The Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of My Mother, united in all to My Heart, may be loved and glorified. Deliverance will thus be the work of our two Hearts, the triumph of our love for the people upon whom this Consecration will bestow confidence according to My promises."
"By confident consecration to My Mother, the Devotion to My Heart will be strengthened and, as it were, completed. This Devotion, this Consecration will be, according to My Promise, a renovation for My Church, a renewed strength for Christianity which is too often wavering, a source of single graces for souls, who thereby will be more deeply penetrated with love and confidence.
"The clear light to be granted, through recourse to My Mother, will bring about, above all, the conversion of a multitude of straying and sinful souls: The pity of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of My Mother will implore Mercy for them from My Heart."
"This devotion to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of My Mother will
restore faith and hope to broken hearts and to ruined families; it will
help to repair the destruction; it will sweeten sorrow. It will be
a new strength for My Church, bringing souls, not only to confidence in
My Heart, but also to abandonment to the Sorrowful Heart of My Mother."
- Our Lord to Berthe Petit
