The Qualifications:

Please read the qualifications carefully before applying:

Keep in mind that this Catholic webring has some of the strictest standards of acceptance for any Catholic webring. But don't let that discourage you!! If you're accepted, your website will be proudly listed among the best Catholic websites the internet has to offer!

*Your web site must be totally Catholic (which includes Byzantine - which is not 'Roman', but Eastern rite), true and faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, with respect to the Vicar of Christ, Sucessor to Peter, Pope John Paul II. We will also accept Orthodox Catholic sites , which despite our unfortunate divisions, have valid Catholic Sacraments.

*Traditionalists - which reject the Novus Ordo rite Mass as invalid and do not accept the authority of the Pope or Vatican II - need not apply.

*Your links must also be faithful ~ or at least not against ~ The Catholic Church's teachings. 'Christian' links (which are Protestant) are not acceptable. Sorry, but 'protestantism' is not in keeping with the nature and purpose of this webring.

*Not just any *Catholic* web site will be accepted! Your site must have a good amount of religious content. The objective being - your web site should inspire, evangelize, encourage, unite, teach, intercede for, support, love and build up the Body of Christ.

*To avoid confusing or even downright terrifying folks - We cannot in good conscience accept web sites that have, or are linked to any unapproved apparitions.

*WARNING: We will not accept websites that belong to THE ROMAN CATHOLIC WEBRING. This particular webring is an all-inclusive ring filled with dissidents, traditionalists, and liberal Catholic websites which pose a danger to the faithful. If this doesn't agree with your philosophy, then this webring is not for you.

*The ring master reserves the right to REMOVE WITHOUT NOTICE any sites:

1) That are found to contain bad links to unfaithful 'Catholic'or 'christian' sites.

2) Where the webring code mysteriously 'disappears'.

*There are an increasing number of websites that assault visitors with unrequested music. This is especially "interesting" in the middle of the night with sleeping babies around. It may also cause servers to crash. So we ask that everyone please be considerate in this regard and allow visitors to decide via a "play" button whether or not to listen to the available music. This is a recommendation only -- having music does not disqualify a site for acceptance.

*Lastly, your web site shouldn't have an excessive amount of broken graphics, be pleasant to look at and be well-maintained (at least once a month).

If you are unsure how faithful the content of your web site is, or your links, have your web site reviewed and rated by the PetersNet people ~ before you apply. They are quick and very thorough, and you should have your answer within a week or two. Almost all of our websites have been reviewed by PetersNet or are in the process of doing so.

Copy the code onto your site. Save the image onto your own files by right clicking the mouse over the image. Do not link onto the image. Once you have the code copied into your HTML, edit the necessary information where indicated. Paste the image onto the code. When you have the code ready on your web site, email the net manager with your URL, and your site ID#. The code must be placed on your homepage or designated "net rings" page where others traveling the ring can find it otherwise the ring is broken.
